R. C. (Tino) Di Bella

Tino DiBella is a general practitioner whose preferred areas of practice are wills, trusts, and estates law; elder law; bankruptcy and insolvency law; and real estate and strata law. He has acted as an attorney, representative, committee, trustee, executor or administrator for many clients. Whether acting as counsel in litigation matters or as a solicitor in non-contested matters, Tino advises and represents individual clients in the areas of powers of attorney, representation agreements for health care matters, committee proceedings, and estate planning and administration matters. Tino also advises and represents business clients in the areas of insolvency and creditors' remedies and real estate law, including both residential and commercial tenancy matters. Finally, Tino advises and represents strata corporations and property managers in strata governance and construction litigation matters.

Tino received his Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) and his Bachelor of Laws from the University of Victoria, and was admitted to the British Columbia Bar in 1980.

He is a contributing editor to BC Debtor-Creditor Law and Precedents (Carswell: 1993), a frequent lecturer for the CLE Society of BC, the BC Branch, Canadian Bar Association, and the PLTC program of the Law Society of BC, a former president of the Victoria Bar Association, the Estate Planning Council of Greater Victoria and an adjunct professor of law at the University of Victoria Law School. Tino is a sometime golfer at the Victoria Golf Club and is currently a board member of the Eldercare Foundation of Greater Victoria and the British Columbia Law Institute.
